Vitamin B6 as P5P

Supports cellular energy metabolism.* Vitamin B6 as P5P — GLPrelief ingredient
What

Vitamin B6 is required for over 100 enzymatic reactions in the body, including amino acid metabolism, neurotransmitter synthesis, and energy production. Because the body doesn't store large amounts, it must be replenished regularly.

GLPrelief uses Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate (P5P) — the active coenzyme form of B6. This is the form that actually functions as a cofactor in your cells. Standard supplements use pyridoxine HCl, which requires your liver to convert it to P5P before your body can use it.

Why P5P Instead of Standard B6

Most supplements contain pyridoxine HCl — the cheapest form of B6. Your liver must convert pyridoxine through multiple enzymatic steps to produce P5P, the form your cells actually use.

By starting with P5P directly, GLPrelief bypasses this conversion step entirely. This is particularly relevant when the body's metabolic demands are shifting — the active coenzyme form is ready to work immediately upon absorption.

This is one of three active-form B vitamins in GLPrelief's formula, reflecting a deliberate formulation philosophy: use the body-ready form wherever one exists.

Cellular energy metabolism and neurotransmitter synthesis. P5P is the active cofactor for enzymes involved in energy production, amino acid metabolism, and the synthesis of brain-signaling molecules.*
