Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) plays a central role in energy metabolism — it serves as a building block for coenzymes (FAD and FMN) that drive hundreds of chemical reactions needed for cellular function and growth.
GLPrelief uses Riboflavin-5-Phosphate (R5P) — the active, phosphorylated coenzyme form. Like P5P and Methylcobalamin, this is the body-ready form that doesn't require hepatic activation.
Standard riboflavin must be phosphorylated by the body before it can function as a coenzyme. R5P skips this conversion step, delivering the active cofactor directly. This is consistent with GLPrelief's active-form philosophy across the entire B-vitamin complex.
