Who formulated GLPrelief?

George W. Carroll, MD

Co-Founder & Chief Medical Director, Relief Nutraceuticals

Dr. Carroll brings 45 years of clinical experience to GLPrelief as its founder and physician formulator.

He formulated GLPrelief with specific attention to the nutritional and comfort needs most commonly reported by patients navigating GLP-1 medication routines — selecting every ingredient, form, and dose through a documented decision process grounded in clinical observation and peer-reviewed research.

“I designed GLPrelief to be the product I’d want my own patients to have on their counter.”

Formulation Process

How were GLPrelief's ingredients selected?

A documented, four-step decision process — from clinical observation to independent verification.

Identified the daily experience

Dr. Carroll identified the most common nutritional and comfort needs reported by GLP-1 medication users — based on clinical patterns observed across thousands of patients over four decades of practice.

Selected ingredients with peer-reviewed support

Every ingredient was chosen based on published research supporting its role in daily wellness. Active forms were prioritized for bioavailability — P5P over pyridoxine, methylcobalamin over cyanocobalamin, magnesium malate over magnesium oxide.

Designed for daily simplicity

Fifteen ingredients combined into a single stick pack — replacing the multi-bottle routines that patients were struggling to maintain during dose changes and medication adjustments.

Verified through independent testing

The finished product is manufactured in a GMP-compliant facility and underwent third-party testing for microbial safety.

Quality & Testing

What is GLPrelief tested for?

Manufactured in a cGMP-certified facility. Third-party tested for microbial safety.

Our proprietary botanical blend

The GLPrelief™ Proprietary Blend (800 mg total) contains four physician-selected botanicals:

  • Ginger Root Extract, standardized to 5% gingerols
  • L-Theanine
  • Rhodiola Rosea Root Extract, standardized to 3% salidrosides
  • Chamomile Flower Extract at a 10:1 concentration

Individual doses within the blend are proprietary. We share standardization details — gingerol percentage, salidroside percentage, extract concentration ratios — because these describe the quality and potency of each extract, and give you and your healthcare provider meaningful information to evaluate.

What we don’t include

GLPrelief is free of high-dose caffeine, artificial colors, cyanocobalamin, pyridoxine HCl, magnesium oxide, and inulin/FOS — common supplement ingredients we excluded for specific reasons.

Safety & Medical Oversight

Common safety questions

Reviewed by our medical team — clear, honest, no jargon.

GLPrelief is a dietary supplement, not a medication. We always recommend discussing any new supplement with your prescribing physician or pharmacist before beginning use — especially if you are currently taking GLP-1 receptor agonist medications. Your healthcare provider can evaluate GLPrelief's ingredients in the context of your individual health profile.

GLPrelief contains chamomile flower extract. Individuals with known allergies to plants in the Asteraceae/Compositae family — which includes ragweed, chrysanthemums, marigolds, and daisies — should consult their healthcare provider before use. Please review the full ingredient list, including "Other Ingredients," on our ingredients page before purchasing.

No. GLPrelief contains no caffeine and no stimulants. The formula uses no artificial colors or artificial flavors. Sweetness comes from allulose and thaumatin, both naturally derived, with a small amount of sucralose for flavor balance.

We recommend consulting your healthcare provider before taking any dietary supplement during pregnancy or while nursing.

Discontinue use and consult your healthcare provider. If side effects feel severe, persistent, or worrying, seek medical attention. GLPrelief contains common dietary supplement ingredients, but individual responses vary.

Store in a cool, dry place. No refrigeration required. Keep individual stick packs sealed until use.

We always recommend talking to your healthcare provider

GLPrelief was designed by a physician to support your daily wellness routine alongside your existing healthcare plan. If you’re taking GLP-1 medications, we encourage you to share GLPrelief’s ingredient list with your prescribing physician or pharmacist.

We built this product to be something your provider would feel comfortable with — because the best supplement decisions are ones you make with your healthcare team, not instead of them.
